My parents are coming back from their holiday earlier than planned... Damn.
But on the other hand, I'd like to see them again... Oh well, I've done another survey to kill the time.. Caue otherwise I'll definitly fall asleep... Fucking nightshifts...

You know, I absolutely didn't want to go and work fulltime at Schiphol... But it turns out to be okay... The people are nice and there's a good atmosphere. So I guess I can cope for a while :p

You know that police tv show 'Baantjer'?
Well, they're currently shooting an episode on my block (just a couple of houses away) Why? I have no clue... It's supposed to be in Amsterdam but hey what the hell, right? Might as well go to Almere and pretend it's Amsterdam. They blocked the whole freakin' street with those sound and other equipment things, we had to park our car somehwere else cause they needed the spaces for their cars etc. Not complaining though... (A) I mean, finally a little excitement in the neighbourhood. Think I should parade up and down the street hoping they'll offer me a part as an extra or something? I could be discovered and be the next best thing, and travel all over the world, be rich and famous and have a lot of famous friends and groupies and.... haha yeah, whatever.
Anywho, nothing much going on besides that. I'm counting the days till my fulltime Schiphol period. And not in a good way I tell you. Oh well, I desperatly need the money or I won't be able to go away this summer. And believe it or not, it is my number 1 priority to get the hell out here for at least three weeks. Talk about motivation...
Oh, and yesterday when I was at 'de sportinstuif' with those kids. Yorrick (the one who organises everthing) said the nicest thing. First he asked me if I was looking forward to next school year already. And I said yes and that I wanted to go to school again etc (yes it's true). Then he said: "well you already have an internship" And I'm like: "Do I?" He: "yes, here with me and those kids". And I was like aww that's so sweet. Looks like I am appreciated.. always nice to know such a thing, don't you think? |

Last night, when I was out, my parents left for France. They'll be gone for a week which means I will have the house all to myself (well and my brother, but he's mostly in his room anyway) during that week... *jeeej!*
Last night I went out with some friends because it was 'Koninginnennacht' which apparently had to be celebrated. Fine by me. First we went over to Marco's to watch a movie (Pirates... Again. because one person hadn't seen it yet, which was pretty unacceptable to us... I mean, come on, you must have seen Pirates) followed by a trip to town, and I'm telling you they were already selling stuff! Damn, I never quite realized it starts at friday night! But yeah, anyway.. we went to Bordeaux again ofcourse and it was nice. Had fun etc.
Today, in a couple of hours that is, we're gonna meet in town and hit the market I reckon. Other than that we'll probably just hang out and go out again at night...
As for sunday, I have nothing planned, which is actually a good thing considering the fact that I'll probably be dead by tomorrow. So I could use some rest... Sunday: my quiet little resting day. And monday me, Iris, Kelly and Lies will have a drink together to catch up and such. Talking about that: Lies if you're reading this, I was thinking maybe you could come and have dinner with Iris and me, cause I'm all alone anyway so I thought it would be nice to have dinner together before we go to Le Baron. What do you think? Oh and Kelly, you're welcome too ofcourse but you had to go to 'vlaggen' didn't you?
And just so I wont forget half of what I'm supposed to do before I leave:

I'm bored... So bored. And now my mom's taking a shower so I have to wait again. Blegh.
Oh and then I have to walk the dog, go over to Ineke's then come home, have lunch before I go to 10 x 10... Then come home and cook, have dinner and then off to babysit Amy and Noah... Busy day, busy day...

My lay-out annoyed the hell out of me, so I changed it into something a lot less interesting. But hey, it's not supposed to be interesting, since my entries are interesting enough. They make up for the boring lay-out. haha yeah whatever, sorry am in a rather fun mood. Don't know why though.
Actually, now that I think about it... does anyone read this? my entries? or even visit my LJ... I won't blame you if you don't cause I'm not a very regular updater, and if I update it's not that interesting (surveys and stuff) but I was just wondering. Oke, time for something with a little more substance..... Oke, got nothing.
Well alright, last weekend me and Kelly, Iris and Lies finally hooked up together again. Went out, to bordeaux ofcourse. It was fun, it's been a while, but I had a great time up to the end. But that's another story and I'm not gonna bore you with it.
I'm really getting tired of bordeaux by the way. I want something else, a pub/club with some good music you can actually dance to. That would be nice. Pity I live in the wrong town though. Well maybe we'll go to Amsterdam sometime. We'll see.
Anyway, other than that I haven't been up to much this week. Though I've been really busy. Went to those kiddies activities which I still very much like. I love it even, they're so cute and sweet, they make my day, really. And I'm involved in something else with kids too; organising certain activities to keep them busy after school. Nice too. Oh and I'm doing this thing with parents, it's called the parent-room and actually I'm not doing it, I just attend and help out the one who's organising it, but it's really interesting. Orientation-wise :p
Went swimming yesterday with Anouk. Great, hadn't done that in a while and I love swimming so I've neglected it. Bleh. And there were these 2 guys, amazingly cute and they kept staring (me too) and it was so adorable, haha. Anyway, that's pretty much my week. Don't have any specific plans for this weekend yet. So I'll see...

Oke, even een berichtje in het Nederlands.
Ten eerste, Kelly (als je dit leest) en Lies ik zou graag weer eens wat af willen spreken (en met Iris uiteraard). Het is echt veel te lang geleden en we hebben het ook steeds zitten uitstellen, voor wat voor reden dan ook. We hebben waarschijnlijk allemaal zo onze redenen gehad. Maar goed, ik wil jullie gewoon even laten weten dat ik jullie echt niet vergeten ben, maar dat ik wegens omstandigheden misschien een 'beetje afgeleid' was... ahum. Daar ben ik nu gelukkig achter en ga er dan ook zo snel mogelijk wat aan doen. (wat nu zo langzamerhand ook wel eens tijd wordt)
